Cherry’s Custom Framing & Art gallery is owned and operated by Cherry and Joe Babcock located at 310 Howard St. in Carthage, Missouri. The historic building has been used to house a black smith, a cabinet maker, and as well as storage for Cantrell Seed House. The neighboring building once belonged to Raymond Cantrell, Cherry’s grandfather, who operated Cantrell’s Seed House, which was renowned for its wide selection of products and friendly service. Cherry continues the tradition of service and selection in the art industry.
Come in and browse. We represent some of the finest artists in the nation specializing in paintings and sculptures in a wide variety of subject matter. The art in the gallery ranges from traditional oil paintings by artists such as John Pototschnik, Steve White, Theresa Rankin, Bob Tommey, Todd Williams, Phil Beck, JaNeil Anderson, John Lasater, Jason Sacran, Lowell Davis, and Andy Thomas, watercolors and oils by artists such as Jerry Ellis and Bob Graham, bronze sculptures by Richard Thompson, pottery by Brent Skinner, and the unique contemporary style of Tricia Courtney.
